Cristina Hill is Selected as the Class of 2020 Buccino Scholar
On February 4th, the newest member of the family of Buccino Scholars was selected. The 2017 Buccino Scholarship, awarded annually to one Leadership Development Honors Program Freshman, was awarded to Cristina Hill. This achievement was celebrated at the annual luncheon hosted by Dr. Buccino and the other Buccino Scholars, both alumni and current. Other nominees for this honor included Steven Catudal, Megan Scime, Regan Scanlon, and Henry Steck. Dr. Buccino’s praise for all of the nominees is captured in his words: “They are five outstanding young Pirates, all incredibly talented and gifted individuals, the ‘best-of-the-best,’ who will be highly successful in their professional and personal life.” Dr. Buccino complimented the nominees for their academic excellence and the unique gifts and talents they possess. They represent our Buccino Center’s and Leadership Development Program’s highest standards and values of academic, leadership and performance excellence.
