“Wings for Kids”

On Monday, December 11, sophomores Taylor Salomon and Isioma Oye- Onwuka ran a fundraiser called “Wings For Kids” to raise money for Make-A-Wish Foundation NJ. Students who attended had a chance to eat Village Pizza and participate in three raffles consisting of SHU Athletic gear, gift cards to Village eats, and a candy basket. The main event was a Tito’s hot wing eating competition, which featured organizations like AKPSI, AOII, BMS, G.O.L.D, and MLKSA. Taylor and Isi were happy to announce this event raised over $400 for Make- A- Wish.
