American Heart Association Walk 2015
Written by: Michael Cappelluti
Over the past few months, the Leadership team has been participating various fundraising events in order to prepare for the event. The events, spearheaded by the Servant Leadership Initiative, included student dinners, fundraising on the green and canning around the South Orange Community. The team did a tremendous job for the 2015 walk, as the amount raised was tripled from last year’s total.
On Sunday October 25th, students of the Leadership Development Honors program participated in the American Heart Association Walk in Essex County. Leadership was proud to represent Seton Hall University at the walk, and is ecstatic to have raised over ten thousand dollars this year. The program’s director, Michael Reuter expressed, “this year’s event raised the bar to heights undreamed. The team’s efforts and their leadership exemplify what Leadership is # 1 in the nation.”
Leadership Class of 2018 students Andrew Aguilera and Andrew Hustick head the committee for all of the American Heart Association events at Seton Hall. Thank you Andrew and Andrew for doing a tremendous job and continuing to raise the bar even higher for the future! The efforts of the Seton Hall community and everyone involved in the American Heart Association are making a difference.
A special thank you to all of our 2015 sponsors:
