In his recent Blog, Turning Passion on Its Head, Seth Godin suggests a shift in focus from doing what we love to loving what we do.

Instead of, “do what you love,” perhaps the more effective mantra for the entrepreneur, the linchpin and maker of change might be, “love what you do.”

If we can fall in love with serving people, creating value, solving problems, building valuable connections and doing work that matters, it makes it far more likely we’re going to do important work.

This simple shift in emphasis does not change the importance of finding our life’s vocation.  Rather, it sets fire to that ‘doing’ in life. Love sets our ‘doing’ ablaze, intensifying amplifying its depth and breadth beyond what we would have dreamed.

As Steve Jobs said:  “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.  If you haven’t found it, keep looking. Don’t settle.” Never settle! Ever! Life is so very beautiful.  Life is so very good.

Have a beautiful day and a magnificent week!!!
