Welcome to the Curriculum Development Initiative workspace. The goal of this space is to make transparent the development process for creating hybrid or online courses.  

The CDI Math and ELA projects reflect the collaboration process between the College of Education and Human Services and the College of Arts & Sciences on the redesign of several courses.  The instructors involved in the project share resources, tools, and meeting minutes.  The goal of the collaboration is to create six-credit hybrid courses that merge discipline specific content with teaching methods courses to allow for more focused student field experiences in content areas.  The courses will be co-taught and are slated to launch Fall 2014.

The CDI ENGL project outlines the steps involved in creating an online M.A. program from scratch.  The instructors involved in the project share meeting notes, tools, and templates.  The online program is slated to launch Fall 2015.
