\nThe award, the focus of United Nations Climate Change\u2019s Momentum for Change initiative, recognizes the most innovative projects in the field of climate action.
\nWinning activities encompass scalable and replicable examples of what people are doing to address climate change, in the hope of inspiring others to act. The selected activities will be recognized and celebrated at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 25) in Chile.
\nApplications for the 2019 UN Global Climate Action Award will be accepted from 11 February through 30 April 2019 at: https:\/\/momentum.unfccc.int\/<\/a><\/p>\n

UNAOC Fellowship – 2019 Call for Applications<\/a><\/strong>
\nThe United Nations Alliance of Civilizations<\/a> (UNAOC) is pleased to launch the Call for Applications for the 2019 edition of its Fellowship Programme<\/a>. The Call is open to participants between 25 to 35 years old, from the Middle East, North Africa, Europe and North America, with a strong interest in intercultural exchanges. The theme of the Fellowship in 2019 is \u201cThe role\u00a0 of women in peacemaking and conflict prevention\u201d. Candidates must also be able to present professional achievements in these fields.<\/p>\n
