It shows the equal sign surrounded by four arrows and is intended to be a compass for a place where everything is equal. The new design more accurately reflects and symbolizes the objective of Sustainable Development Goal 10, \u201cReduced Inequalities\u201d. It replaces the former icon effective 1 January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Clear and consistent use of the SDG branding has been key to the success of raising awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals,\u201d says Maher Nasser, Director of the Outreach Division in the Department of Public Information. \u201cThe SDG wheel logo and accompanying icons have been disseminated globally in multiple languages.
