Human in Love (HIL), formerly the World Disaster Relief Organization (WDRO), was founded in 2009 to provide long-term disaster relief. WDRO became HIL in 2011 to emphasize its support for international development, which HIL views as necessary for ultimately breaking the poverty cycle in Southeast Asia and central Africa. HIL provides school scholarships in poverty- stricken regions as education is the first step towards eradicating poverty and protecting the environment from frequent natural disasters caused by pollution and over- industrialization. HIL seeks to assist the most vulnerable regions of the earth to minimize future vulnerability in cases of disaster. In 2015, HIL obtained special consultative status with ECOSOC, and in 2016, HIL sponsored the 40th Hankuk University of Foreign Studies International Model United Nations in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

For more information please visit their website at www.humaninlove.org or follow them

at the following platforms:

Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/humaninlove

YouTube:

https://www.youtube.com/user/humaninloveorg

NGO Youth Corner

Youth Voices on Substance Abuse

DPI/NGO Briefing “Youth Voices on Substance Abuse: A Guide to Empowerment and Action”

was one of the highlights of the Spring 2017 Briefings Season.
