Washington, D.C.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) announced that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson will testify before the Committee on Wednesday, June 14.\u00a0 The hearing, entitled \u201cThe FY 2018 Foreign Affairs Budget,\u201d will begin at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n

Chairman Royce on the hearing:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cAs we continue our work to make U.S. diplomacy and foreign assistance more effective and efficient, this hearing will provide members an opportunity to hear from Secretary Tillerson about the administration\u2019s foreign affairs budget and reform proposals.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The hearing will be webcast at\u00a0www.foreignaffairs.house.gov\/live-video-feed<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The hearing room will likely not be able to accommodate all members of the media wishing to cover the hearing from the press viewing area.<\/p>\n

Only Congressionally credentialed members of the media will be allowed access to the press viewing area in the committee hearing room and\u00a0MUST RSVP to their respective Press Gallery by 5pm on Tuesday, June 13.<\/strong><\/p>\n
