This meeting was intended as an opportunity to highlight the positive practices as a result of the Convention and identify the ways to improve in terms of protecting human rights and preventing enforced disappearances.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"hugh.dugan@shu.edu\">Professor Hugh Dugan<\/a> of Seton Hall University was invited by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/ga\/71\/presskit\/\">President of the General Assembly Peter Thomson<\/a> to speak\u00a0at this meeting.
