On Thursday February 12, the DPI-NGO office organized a briefing on Transitioning from the MDGs<\/a>. A packed hall heard from Amina Mohammed, Special Advisor of the Secretary-General on Post-2015 Development Planning, Jeffrey Brez, Chief, NGO Relations, Advocacy and Special Events, DPI, Mitchell Toomey, Director, Millennium Campaign, Florencia Soto, Public Information Officer, Strategic Communication Division, DPI, Jeffery Huffines, United Nations Representative of CIVICUS, and Thomas Gass, Assistant Secretary-General for Policy Coordination and Inter-Agency Affairs, DESA.<\/p>\n
