Is the UN still relevant? Professor Dugan from the School of Diplomacy on Turkish TV

As world leaders gather in New York on the occasion of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (18 September – 5 October 2018), the debate on the role of the United Nations in advancing human rights and sustainable development continues. Professor Hugh Dugan, former U.S. delegate to the United Nations and Adjunct Professor at the School of Diplomacy and International Relations, Seton Hall University, was joined by Prof. Austin from the The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in an interview broadcasted on Turkish TV on Tuesday. Professor Hugh Dugan advised eleven US Ambassadors to the UN while serving as a US Delegate there from 1989 to 2015. Besides being a professor, he is currently the Sharkey Distinguished Visiting Scholar Seton Hall University’s School of Diplomacy and International Relations.
