As a recognized NGO under the UN’s Department of Public Information, the School of Diplomacy and International Relations is allowed to designate two students as Youth Representatives who are less than 32 years old.
To serve as a Youth Rep is an honor which carries with it both opportunities and responsibilities:
- Youth Reps receive UN grounds passes
- Represent and network on behalf of the School of Diplomacy
- Are expected to attend briefings and write content for the Permanent Observer blog.

We need TWO new Youth Reps for 2017 – one graduate and one undergraduate

1) A resume.
2) A brief (750 word max) statement why the applicant is interested in the position and detailing the applicant’s engagement with UN programs on campus.
