On September 4th President Trump advised the White House\u2019s Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought to \u201ccease and desist\u201d from using any more of the millions of taxpayers dollars it costs to continue promoting and running these \u201cdivisive, anti-American propaganda\u201d within the Federal workforce.<\/p>\n

According to the memo produced by Russell Vought these types of \u201ctrainings\u201d run opposite to the fundamental beliefs that our Nation has stood upon since its birth and that employees that have attended these sessions have been told that \u201cvirtually all White people contribute to racism\u201d and that they all \u201cbenefit from racism.\u201d Vought believes that “these types of ‘trainings’ not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our Nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the Federal workforce\u201d<\/p>\n

The memo claims that some press reports say these training courses have gone as far as to claim that \u201cthere is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity.\u201d Thus, the White House cannot allow any Federal employees to receive training from any such program that \u201cseeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drive division within our workforce.\u201d<\/p>\n

More detailed guidance will be issued soon to more accurately describe how the implementation of President Trump’s directive will be achieved, as of right now it still has not been released. However, as of the 4th, all Federal agencies are to begin finding and identifying all contracts or spending related to any training on \u201cCritical Race Theory,\u201d \u201cWhite Privilege,\u201d or \u201cany other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.\u201d While not yet canceling these sessions outright, President Trump included another directive to then \u201cseek avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts.\u201d<\/p>\n

To end off, OMB\u2019s director Russell Vought states that The President and his Administration is fully committed to the fair and equal treatment of all individuals in the United States, but that these anti-American sentiments that are being spread are divisive and false and should have no place in the Federal government as a whole. Instead, the government and people should be proud of the diverse group of employees of all different races, ethnicities, and religions who have all joined a common cause to dedicate themselves to the public service of their fellow Americans and the country as a whole.<\/p>\n
