Flynn, in his 1908 work, Saint John\u2019s Church, Newark, states that the colored glass windows in St. John\u2019s were manufactured in Angers, France. He does not give the date, but we can surmise from their style that they were made not long after the final expansion of the body of the church by Father Moran in 1858. <\/p>\n<p>The two windows closest to the sanctuary depict Our Blessed Lord as ruler of the universe, and the Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven. These two windows follow a separate design pattern distinct from the others.
