Carroll Field.\u00a0 With the win the Hawks moved to 13-20 on the year while the Pirates fell to 14-14-1.\u00a0 Billy Layne Jr. picked up the loss for Seton Hall, his first of the year, as he moves to 2-1 on the season.\u00a0 For Monmouth it was Ryan Steckline getting the win to improve to 2-1 on the year\u00a0 . The Hawks&#8217; offense was potent from the start, scoring nine runs through the first three innings.
