First reading of proposed changes to Article 3.1 of the Faculty Guide<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Article 3.1, a\u00a0 reads<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\"><b>Full-time term appointments and reappointments shall not exceed a total of five years.<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\"><b>\u00a0<\/b>Motion: To add the following sentence to Article 3, 1, a<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\">Term faculty teaching in the Core and term faculty teaching core English courses who are completing their fifth year in 2012-2013 are eligible to have their contracts extended for one additional year (2013-2014).
