{"id":120,"date":"2021-09-23T21:20:04","date_gmt":"2021-09-24T01:20:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/researchdata\/?p=120"},"modified":"2021-09-23T22:19:57","modified_gmt":"2021-09-24T02:19:57","slug":"please-join-us-at-the-icpsr-biennial-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/researchdata\/2021\/09\/23\/please-join-us-at-the-icpsr-biennial-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"Please Join Us at the ICPSR Biennial Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/library.shu.edu\/icpsr\">Seton Hall University libraries<\/a> is a part of The Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icpsr.umich.edu\/web\/pages\/\">(ICPSR)<\/a>, an organization of members from various institutions that work together to: acquire and preserve social science data, to provide open and equitable access to these data, and to promote effective data use. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This year ICPSR will be hosting their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icpsr.umich.edu\/web\/pages\/membership\/or\/ormeet\/index.html\">Biennial Meeting<\/a>, a fully virtual event, open to the public, and free.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The event will take place from <strong>October 6-8, 2021,<\/strong> with presentations happening between<strong> 10 am ET and 5pm ET.<\/strong> We strongly suggest that our students, faulty, and staff attend.
