SHU Data Services Libraries is<\/span> happy to announce that it will be hosting Data Services classes <\/span>throughout the fall semester.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Students, staff, and faculty are\u00a0<\/span>welcome to attend\u00a0<\/span>the workshops. September 9th, 2021, from 2:00-2:45 pm: Introduction to STATA<\/a><\/p>\n

September 15th, 2021, from 10:00-10:45 am: Qualitative Data Analysis in Atlas.ti\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

September 16th, 2021, from 2:00-2:45 pm: StoryMaps in ArcGIS<\/a><\/p>\n

September 21st, 2021, from 10:00-10:45 am: Introduction to STATA<\/a><\/p>\n

September 22nd, 2021, from 2:00-2:45 pm: Introduction to ggplot<\/a><\/p>\n

September 23rd, 2021, from 10:00-10:45 am: Find Data For Your Research in ICPSR<\/a><\/p>\n

September 29th, 2021, from 2:00-2:45 pm: Introduction to Jupyter<\/a><\/p>\n

September 30th, 2021, from 10:00-10:45 am: Building Survey in Qualtrics<\/a><\/p>\n

To sign up, click on the link and then click \u201cbegin registration\u201d which is located in the bottom left of the webpage. Fill out the registration form and a sign-up confirmation email will be sent to you. For any questions, please reach out to SHU Data Services at data.services@shu.edu. Students, faculty, and staff with workshop suggestions are encouraged to reach out to Data Services.<\/p>\n

University Libraries launched its Data Services Group in Fall 2019. Librarians and a Data Support Specialist are available to provide training in data management, specific tools like Stata, SPSS and R, Survey Research Methods for Qualtrics and Data Management for Seton Hall University students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
