Originally founded in 1954 by the Episcopal Diocese of Texas, St. Luke\u2019s is now part of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI). Our organization has grown from a single site to a diverse portfolio of seventeen hospitals. CHI St. Luke\u2019s Health is anchored by our 864-bed flagship hospital, Baylor St. Luke\u2019s Medical Center, located in the competitive environment of the Texas Medical Center.
