The Sacred Labyrinth Digital Humanities project also explored Aurasma and Wikitude for creating a sacred labyrinth experience on campus.

The general consensus from the group was that Wikitude is definitely the preferred app for creating an AR experience.  It uses minimal HTML/XML coding so that even someone new to coding is able to easily get started using a Space154 template.

The next VR/AR Maker Friday is October 21st from 10:00am – 2:30pm.  The Google Cardboard viewers will be available for use again and we will also have a Gear VR (powered by Oculus) available for a more immersive experience.  We will also continue with Wikitude and go over next steps after filling in the HTML/XML template.
