Pieter Bruegel the Elder (1525\/30-1569) was a prolific painter of scenes from the biblical and classical Greek world, along with detailed and whimsical scenes of urban life in his own time. In his <em>WSJ<\/em> article, &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/bruegel-review-enduring-fascination-1538823600\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8216;Bruegel\u2019 Review: Enduring Fascination<\/a>,&#8221; A.J.
