In <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em> of October 21-22, 2017, Brenda Cronin\u2019s \u201cMichelangelo\u2019s indelible lines\u201d presents a new exhibit of drawings from\u00a050 museum and private collections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metmuseum.org\/exhibitions\/listings\/2017\/michelangelo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Museum\u2019s website <\/a>provides a tantalizing presentation of the exhibit\u2019s treasures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Morgan Library and Museum (225 Madison Ave. at 36 St., Manhattan) has an exhibit \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.themorgan.org\/exhibitions\/drawn-to-greatness\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Drawn to Greatness: Master Drawings from the Thaw Collection<\/a>\u201d of 150 works from Andrea Mantegna to Picasso. <em>The New York Times<\/em> of October 27, 2017 presented a brief note by Holland Cotter and a photograph of Mantegna\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2017\/10\/27\/arts\/10-things-to-do-in-nyc-now-morgan-library-master-drawings-halloween-festivals.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Three Standing Saints<\/a>\u201d (from approximately 1450).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A second exhibit at the Morgan is called \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.themorgan.org\/exhibitions\/magnificent-gems\">Magnificent Gems<\/a>,\u201d bejeweled bindings of manuscripts from the Middle Ages.<\/p>\n<p>Three great exhibits in NYC.
