Nikki Schuldt earned her B.A. in Government from Smith College, complementing it with minors in Classical Studies and Statistics & Data Science. Now, as an M.A. candidate at Seton Hall University, specializing in post-conflict state reconstruction and foreign policy analysis, she continues to explore the complexities of global diplomacy with precision and passion. Her experience in government and the legal industry has shaped her strategic approach, making her an invaluable guide in shaping discourse on international affairs.<\/p>\n

Zuleyha Cite earned her B.A. in International Relations from Istanbul, Marmara University, and after graduation, she transitioned to Seton Hall University. Zuleyha is currently a second-year M.A. candidate in Diplomacy and International Relations, specializing in International Organizations. Her academic interests focus on international peace, security, and particularly UN studies, with a deep passion for Turkish-American politics and NATO affairs. Currently, Zuleyha serves as a Graduate Assistant in the School of Diplomacy\u2019s Social Media team. With her creativity and expertise, Zuleyha is sure to contribute to the social media presence of the Journal and help shape its digital voice.<\/p>\n

Robbie Hughes earned his BA in Public Policy & Governance from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada last year, and is currently pursuing his M.A. in Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University. His academic interest focus on International Human Rights and Foreign Policy. He is working on human rights field research in West Africa, focusing on child slavery and he is currently a Research & Analytics Associate for the LeRoy Wealth Management Group. As Deputy Editor in Chief and member of the Editorial Board, Robbie Hughes supports all aspects of the Journal\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n

Caitlin earned her B.A. from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, and graduated in 2022 with a double major in Politics and Spanish for International Service. Deeply committed to service and global engagement, she stayed in DC as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer at her alma mater and managed the Cardinal Cupboard food pantry for students and staff. After a year of service, her passion for humanitarian work motivated her to spend a year and a half working as a transportation specialist in refugee resettlement in DC for the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. Motivated to increase her global influence, she returned to her home state\u2019s academic institutions to gain more knowledge and experience in diplomacy. Currently, she is a first-year M.A. student in Diplomacy and International Relations and also serves as a Research Assistant for the UN Center at Seton Hall. Her dedication to the academy ensures that the Journal of Diplomacy maintains its high editorial standards<\/p>\n

School of Diplomacy and International Relations
Philip Moremen joined the School of Diplomacy and International Relations as one of its first four full-time faculty members. His areas of expertise include public international law, international environmental law and policy, and peace operations. Professor Moremen’s scholarship has addressed compliance with international law, customary international law, and post-conflict peacebuilding. His book,\u00a0Perceptions of State: International Law in the U.S. State Department,\u00a0<\/i>was published in 2024 by Cambridge University Press. He has also published articles in the\u00a0Temple Law Review<\/i>, the\u00a0UCLA Journal of International Law and Foreign Affairs<\/i>, and the\u00a0Harvard Journal of International Law<\/i>. Professor Moremen is an Honorary Vice-President of the American Branch of the International Law Association and serves on its Executive Committee. In 2024, that organization awarded him its Charles Siegal Distinguished Service Award. He has also served as Chair of the Seton Hall University Faculty Senate and in several other Senate positions. He was awarded the Albert J. Hakim Faculty Service Medal in 2017 for that service. In 2019, he was named as the University Teacher of the Year, and he was named School of Diplomacy Teacher of the Year in 2011 (co-winner), 2019, and 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
