We’re pleased to say that we’re typing and clicking away at our computers to get assignment letters out this week. Unlike past years, this year students can expect their assignment letters and parking permits for move-in day right in their emails. The email will also contain more useful information, such as links to linen vendors and a packing list for college.
Students will find out their residence hall, room, and roommate(s’) name(s) in this email. We encourage students to contact each other and discuss living together. It’s also a good idea to talk about roommate expectations as well as decide who wants to bring what for sharing.
HRL will not be accepting roommate change requests as we believe college is all about learning through different people’s experiences. Remember, roommates don’t have to be the best of friends, but rather just a respectful relationship.
