The cost is $65 for students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 2023 Institute<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>will be held virtually beginning at\u00a04pm EST on\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, June 7, 2023<\/strong>\u00a0and ending on\u00a0<strong>Friday, June 9, 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The goals of the Institute are to:<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Provide groundbreaking interactive workshops on new and innovative approaches to qualitative inquiry that address equity and justice. These have been designed by some of the presenters especially for this institute<em>\u00a0(attendees will be the first to learn of &amp; workshop these new approaches).<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Provide information on the qualitative approaches we already know and love (i.e., new materialism, discourse analysis, photovoice, critical geography, performance ethnography, interviewing techniques) with a focus on the theme of this years\u2019 institute.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">Equip attendees with tools to enact these approaches in their own research, scholarship, and practice.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Welcome publishers and qualitative software vendors so you may connect with each other.<\/li>\n<li>Offer an additional engaging space to connect with attendees with similar interests so you may further your own \/ new research collaborations (i.e., a \u201cvirtual piazza\u201d or small \u201cdiscussion rooms\u201d for you break out into as you meet people whom you want to talk with during the institute).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please visit the Ohio State University College of Education and Human Ecology website to register and learn more.
