Each year, the incoming first-year undergraduate students read the same book. This year, I Never Thought of It That Way – How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times by Mónica Guzmán was selected. If you feel like there is not a lot of time to read an extra book, you might want to consider listening to the book on your commute. The author reads the book and enthusiastically shares many different ways that one can awaken their curiosity and have open and honest conversations about topics where you may disagree with another’s perspective. It is well worth the time to read!
