Reality, is it?

I think technology has revolutionized everyone’s life. Think about it: we can access endless amounts of information through our fingertips. The addition of virtual reality has taken this a step further, and now we can picture ourselves in a different room from the comfort of our own couch.

“Virtual reality has entered the room”

Virtual reality provides you with the possibility to access activities from the comfort of your own home. Having gone through a pandemic, virtual reality would have been very useful throughout that time. I think as social being we needed to feel connected and virtual reality would have offered us that. I think socialization at a young age is necessary but it is not always possible. Through its many limitations, I think extended reality is making learning a lot easier for most.

Please take some time to look through this interactive webpage I created explaining some of the benefits and limitations of extended reality. I have had the opportunity to use video games and it felt so real – I became a little motion sick pretending I was a soldier in outer space. It was very wild and took some getting used to. I recommend you try it out for yourself!

  1. Hello Jeison,

I loved your VR post! I 100% agree with what you said here “technology has revolutionized everyone’s life. Think about it: we can access endless amounts of information through our fingertips. The addition of virtual reality has taken this a step further, and now we can picture ourselves in a different room from the comfort of our own couch”. SO true.
To your point, If VR was most developed back in 2020 with the pandemic and everyone on lockdown, that would have really beat all those zoom meetings lol.

    Nice post!
