“BETTER SHARING, BRIGHTER FUTURE” – Creative commons tagline
Creative Commons is a nonprofit company that essentially lays out the roadmap on how to share, create, and use art work/music online responsibly – respecting the original creator. I think most people want their work admired because of the time and effort they put into it. As a creator you should and can set the perimeters on how and what your work should be used for. I think understanding Creative Commons’ mission is important because credit should be given when it is needed. I do not consider myself very artistic, but I think Creative Commons licensing is something I would use for any art I create – I would like others to enjoy what I create and such.
