The ISGS presented a panel at the American Literature Association Conference in Chicago, May 24-26, 2024, entitled “New Studies in Works by Susan Glaspell.” It was Chaired by Jeffery Kennedy (Arizona State University) and featured the following papers:\u00a0 1. \u201cSusan Glaspell\u2019s Politics of Reception,\u201d Emeline Jouvre, Toulouse Jean-Jaur\u00e8s University; 2. \u201cSusan Glaspell\u2019s Cherished and Shared of Old as a Wartime Narrative,\u201d J. Ellen Gainor, Cornell University; 3. \u201cGlaspell\u2019s Mothers,\u201d Martha Carpentier, Seton Hall University.<\/p>\n

ISGS also presented a concert reading of Glaspell’s novel Ambrose Holt and Family<\/em>, adapted and directed by Cheryl Black.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
