Restricted: \u00a0NO RESTRICTIONS<\/p>\n<p>CFDA#:<\/p>\n<p>OBJECTIVES: \u00a0The grantee will: teach undergraduate or graduate courses, or both; consult on curriculum and staff training, conduct seminars and workshops with professionals and organizations throughout Ukraine, and conduct research per interest. \u00a0Applications are sought in all appropriate specializations, but applications in the following specializations are preferred: public policy, leadership, public finance, training, local and city government, urban administration, city planning, NGO management and development, health administration, public health, treatment of the disabled and health policy.<\/p>\n<p>ELIGIBILITY<br \/>\nApplicants must meet all of the following requirements unless specific exemptions are stated in individual country or award descriptions. \u00a0Applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. \u00a0Permanent resident status is not sufficient. \u00a0Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent professional\/terminal degree (including a master&#8217;s depending on the field) as appropriate at the time of application. For professionals and artists outside academe, applicants must demonstrate recognized professional standing and substantial professional accomplishments. \u00a0A candidate who has resided abroad for five or more consecutive years in a six-year year period preceding the date of application is ineligible for a grant. For the purpose of this section, a candidate who has lived outside the United States for nine months or more during a calendar year is deemed to have resided abroad for that year. Recipients of a core Fulbright Senior Scholar award (defined as longer than two months) are eligible to receive another traditional award five years after the date of completion of the previous award.<\/p>\n<p>FUNDING<br \/>\nFor 2013-14, grants provided: $3,600 to $8,800, based on the number of accompanying dependents; a book allowance; and a research allowance (for research grants). \u00a0Dependent education costs may be wholly or partially reimbursed, depending on funding availability and grant duration. \u00a0For Flex grants: round trip travel will be included for each segment of the grant for the grantee only. \u00a0A dependent tuition allowance will not be provided.
