Successful proposals should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, develop, operate or participate in an accredited residency or internship program in preventative medicine or public health<\/li>\n<li>Defray the costs of practicum expenses required in such a program<\/li>\n<li>Establish, maintain or improve academic administrative units in preventative medicine or public health programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposals for trainee support can request up $75,000 per trainee per year over a two year period and new unaccredited residency programs can request up to $150,000 in the grant&#8217;s first year to develop a residency program. Applications are due by November 28, 2012.
