The NSF’s Cultural Anthropology Program supports basic scientific research on the causes, consequences, and complexities of human social and cultural variability. The program accepts proposals for a variety of project types, including: Senior Research proposals, Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grants, Cultural Anthropology Scholars Awards, CAREER proposals, Research Experience for Undergraduates, and Research Experience for Graduate Studies.
