The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library runs two programs supporting research on library topics. The Ford Scholar Award in Honor of Robert Teeter provides $5,000 to fund doctoral research on U.S. public policy and political processes in the latter half of the 20th century. Awards are given each spring and applications must be postmarked by April 10. Research travel grants provide up to $2,000 to defray the cost of living in Michigan to conduct research at the Ford Presidential Library. Awards are made twice yearly and must be postmarked before March 15 and September 15.
