The Library Company of Philadelphia offers three fellowships promoting research on early American (colonial period to 1850) economics and society. Post-doctoral fellowships offer $40,000 over nine months, dissertation level fellowships provide $20,000 over nine months and short-term fellowships give $2,000 for one month. Possible topics for research include the history of race and economy, households, transnational discourses of economy, commerce, technology, manufacturing, agriculture, and political economy.
