The National Science Foundation’s IBSS competition supports interdisciplinary research in the economic, behavioral and social sciences. The program funds both Large Interdisciplinary Research Projects and Interdisciplinary Team Exploratory Projects. Large Projects run from two to five years and can receive up to $1 million in funding, while Team Exploratory Projects are only one to two years and can receive up to $250,000 in funding.
