For example:\n<ul>\n<li>She made a cake.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;ve made us some coffee.<\/li>\n<li>Did you really make those trousers?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>We use <strong>&#8220;do&#8221;<\/strong> for general activities. In this case, &#8216;do&#8217; is often used with &#8216;something&#8217;, &#8216;nothing&#8217;, &#8216;anything&#8217; or &#8216;everything&#8217;.\u00a0\u00a0 For example:\n<ul>\n<li>What did you do on the weekend?<\/li>\n<li>I didn&#8217;t do anything yesterday.<\/li>\n<li>She&#8217;s fed up with doing everything herself. She needs some help.<\/li>\n<li>Are you doing anything interesting during the holidays?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>NOTE: &#8216;What do you do?&#8217; means &#8216;what&#8217;s your job?&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>There are many, many fixed expressions with <strong>&#8216;make&#8217;<\/strong> and <strong>&#8216;do&#8217;<\/strong>.
