Meeting Notes 1\/24 DULCE Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Discussed the IGTV initiative in tandem with the Global Current and the process of creating the regular pieces and transitioning them into a podcast out of WSOU.\n
      \n
    1. DULCE will be involved now but hopes to be hands off in the future.<\/li>\n
    2. There are about 6 students who are interested, hoping to have about 15 eventually.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. There is an international law panel in the works in tandem with Dr. Miller\n
        \n
      1. Workshop style interacting with the Pre-Law fraternity as well as Dr. Mormon and a third law school panelist.<\/li>\n
      2. Late March\/early April for a date TBD.<\/li>\n
      3. Also, DULCE hopes to involve the International Law Society and a Law School advisor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      4. Student Ambassadors one on one meetings with students are being planned as well as a recruitment tool and way to build contact between potential students and the Diplomacy School.\n
          \n
        1. Potential students will be paired with SHU students who have similar interests to get a personal connection.<\/li>\n
        2. A list could be created as well with a list of different contacts and only to be used on a need basis.<\/li>\n
        3. Microsoft Teams are also being utilized during Open House, another option as well.<\/li>\n
        4. DULCE can also work with recruiters to give them the information on involved students.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        5. UDSA was discussed and the overlapping initiatives found between them and DULCE.\n
            \n
          1. They are distinctive however, and DULCE should work to incorporate more graduate students into the fold.<\/li>\n
          2. Mark is going to work on reaching out to the grad students in order to build up that relationship and invite everyone to meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          3. Students also discussed the knowledge gap on what DULCE is and want to work on outreach so the student body is aware that anyone may attend meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
