{"id":136,"date":"2015-02-02T16:11:40","date_gmt":"2015-02-02T21:11:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/dlcl\/?page_id=136"},"modified":"2023-04-28T10:10:15","modified_gmt":"2023-04-28T14:10:15","slug":"the-feeding-project","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/dlcl\/the-feeding-project\/","title":{"rendered":"The Feeding Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\">The Feeding Project has been comprised of several studies, including the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Bite and Chew study<\/span>, the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Parent Stress study<\/span>, and the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Stimulability of Feeding Behaviors study<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>AIM of the <span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Bite and Chew study<\/span>: We are interested in studying the developmental process of biting and chewing a variety foods by children ages 6 months through 30 months. We view this as a functional study of children&#8217;s eating development. The task, coding and analysis are developed to translate into data that clinician&#8217;s can one day use in assessment and intervention. We intend to submit the these data for peer review. Pilot data have been presented at conferences.
