Any errors were introduced by me.<\/p>\n<p>A few questions were raised at the session, and the developers have kindly responded with some responses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What happens when a web page moves or is taken down?<\/strong> It would fall to the publisher to put in place a redirect (in the case of it moving). If a page is removed, it&#8217;s not going to be immediately reachable. There are certainly code-based ways of blocking apps; they hope that at some point to add a publisher opt-out feature more easily. They&#8217;re working on an &#8220;abuse&#8221; flag, which would let such comments be more easily identified and removed. <\/p>\n<p>In a group, you can limit it to members; they are also a feature in development to create &#8220;read only&#8221; groups, where a publisher would have full control.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Google Slideshow version of the presentation for the May 23, 2017 digital humanities workshop.
