On April 23rd, I will present the Petersheim Exposition keynote, entitled &#8220;What the Research tells Us about Undergraduate Research.&#8221; I think that this is an important topic for the college, and I&#8217;m suggesting three recent readings from <em>Chronicle<\/em> on the topic:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www-chronicle-com.ezproxy.shu.edu\/article\/Saying-Yes-to-Undergraduate\/241396\">Saying Yes to Undergraduate Research<\/a>: an advocacy piece.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www-chronicle-com.ezproxy.shu.edu\/article\/Undergraduate-Research-Surges\/241360\">Undergraduate Research Surges, Despite Uncertainties Over Best Practices<\/a>: the conversation about how to define undergraduate research and measure its impact.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www-chronicle-com.ezproxy.shu.edu\/article\/Expanding-Undergraduate\/241393\">Expanding Undergraduate Research<\/a>: how to do it on a tight budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been remiss in my blog posts, so I&#8217;ll try to kill two birds with one stone.
