Altieri on Robert Francis Cardinal Prevost, who is now Pope Leo XIV. Altieri, Ph.D.,\u00a0is senior editor for News and Affairs at Crux Now and teaches history and theology at Fairfield College Preparatory School. A journalist, writer, and editor with more than two decades of experience in print, digital,\u00a0and broadcast journalism, Altieri spent nearly a quarter-century\u00a0in Rome covering the Vatican and the Church. He holds a Ph.D. (research doctorate in philosophy) from the Pontifical Gregorian University.
