Each week during the 10-week program, she will write about her experiences.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 10<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">This week marked the final week of my internship at ESPN. I got great feedback from the team and I was really proud of how I put everything together. From bylines, to experiences, and everything in between, it was a great way to recap my experience this summer with everyone who has supported me over these past 10 weeks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Other than that, I worked on some final edits for my Exit Interviews piece for Front Row and worked on more WNBA cards.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I attended an intern vs. pro family feud and got to enjoy a \u201cfarewell\u201d lunch with the rest of the team. I was also bestowed the \u201cintern jacket\u201d and a card signed by the team, and Josh was kind enough to present a certificate from Disney with a lovely message.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">It was a great day, but it didn\u2019t stop there. Katie brought me over to the Vibe Check set and I got to meet the producer, Shelby. We ran into Ronce and my coworker Spencer where we saw WWE champ Cody Rhodes. Truly the best way to finish my time at the World Wide Leader.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Thank you all for reading. I hope the next intern has just as amazing of a time here as I did!<\/div>\n<p><strong>Week 9<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">This week, I got to put my interviewing skills to the test for Front Row while staying on top of my end of summer project.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">This day was all about getting a draft done of another Intern Chronicles, this time for National Intern Day and pitching my last one to be published next week. For the former, I interviewed past Communications interns to see what career paths they took after their time at ESPN.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I also got a few more <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1948807575446716793 link 2: https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1949832204042883304) in addition to this week\u2019s \u201850\/50\u2019 schedule graphic (link: https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1949912617016803723\">WNBA cards posted.<\/a> As with every day this week, I worked on my end of summer project in between, doing a mix of graphic design for the visuals and putting together everything I worked on these past (almost) 10 weeks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I edited the National Intern Day Intern Chronicles, worked on my project and attended a Vibe Check panel moderated by Katie for the Forward Together with Women@ESPN event on campus.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I used this day to get all the materials done I needed for my last Intern Chronicles, which will be a chance for the interns to talk about their experiences in \u201cexit interviews.\u201d I made a Microsoft Form for everyone to fill out and sent it.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I got another <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1950552321894527138\">WNBA card posted<\/a> and worked on a couple more for upcoming games.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-105\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-9-Photo-2-300x243.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"243\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-9-Photo-2-300x243.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-9-Photo-2-1024x830.png 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-9-Photo-2-768x622.png 768w, https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-9-Photo-2.png 1153w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Finally, I designed the last two \u201850\/50\u2019 schedule graphics and worked on the end of summer project while I sat in on a Disney intern event featuring Steven Vincent, SVP of Disney Branded Television Music and Soundtracks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I capped off the week with another Front Row byline now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espnfrontrow.com\/2025\/07\/intern-chronicles-national-intern-day-2025\/\">in my portfolio<\/a> along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNFrontRow\/status\/1950968300495577277\">social card\/copy<\/a>. The rest of the day, I worked on my end of summer project and a podcast engagement project for Manzo.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Until next week!<\/div>\n<p><strong>Week 8<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">This week, I got the opportunity to work out of our NYC offices, be on site for a WNBA game and have two pieces published on Front Row.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">While visiting the Disney offices for the first time in NYC, I sent the first version of my Intern Chronicles draft to Bea and Ronce. In between editing videos to be featured in that Front Row story, I got word that I\u2019d get to interview Ryan Ruocco, Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe before the Fever vs. Liberty game on Tuesday. I spent a lot of time creating questions to ask them for a Front Row piece.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">For that same game, the social card and tweet copy I created was <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1947366238822227985\">posted<\/a>. It was for the NYC screening\/premiere of ESPN\u2019s original series &#8220;Running with the Wolves.&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I also updated my Intern Chronicles draft to make it shorter and wrote my Front Row piece surrounding what was discussed during my interview at the WNBA game.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I worked on final edits and approvals for my Intern Chronicles piece and sent my draft of the WNBA Front Row piece to the appropriate people. Both pieces were published that day (Intern Chronicles and WNBA interview), along with my tweet copy <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNFrontRow\/status\/1948440389938983240\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNFrontRow\/status\/1948454265904681218\">here<\/a>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I was lucky enough to receive praise on my WNBA Front Row piece from Rebecca Lobo herself, and it was reposted by Ruocco and Rowe on Instagram as well.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The rest of the day, I attended ESPN\u2019s Enabled Expo, created three more WNBA social cards and copy for games set for next week, had an end of summer project meeting with Bea and Ronce, and met our intern recruiter, Suzanna, in person on campus.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Until next week!<\/div>\n<p><strong>Week 7<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Now more than halfway through my internship here at ESPN, I\u2019m starting to plan my end of summer project and some more Front Row stories, while getting content posted in between.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I ended last week getting a few more cards uploaded to ESPNPR socials, so I made sure to retweet those for my own <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1943721069854007756\">portfolio<\/a>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Throughout the day, I worked on more social cards and tweet copy for a variety of properties, including more <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1944803736817172980\">WNBA. <\/a>The Front Row piece I worked on last week was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espnfrontrow.com\/2025\/07\/espns-takeover-in-atl-what-fans-should-know-about-the-peach-state-visit\/\">published<\/a> and so was my <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNFrontRow\/status\/1944815331953766756\">tweet copy<\/a> The story was also published on My Disney Today, so I was excited to get my byline out on another platform.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">During our huddle, I got word from my coworker Alex that my credential was confirmed for next Tuesday\u2019s Fever vs. Liberty game in Brooklyn. I discussed the pitch with Bea and my coworkers Sheldon and Jillian and got their feedback as well.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I secured coverage again for <i>SportsCenter\u2019s<\/i>\u00a050-state tour. But this time, it was for the New Jersey stop at the paper I work for at Seton Hall, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesetonian.com\/article\/2025\/07\/espn-comes-to-td-bank-ballpark-in-bridgewater-new-jersey-for-sportscenter-50-states-in-50-days-tour\"><i>The Setonian<\/i><\/a>. With that, I created a press recap and sent it to Ryan Smith and Brian Franey, the talent and producer, respectively, for New Jersey.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">After work, I conducted interviews for the Intern Chronicles.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I started the day by contacting my New York-based colleagues in comms to let them know I would be at our city office this coming Monday and Tuesday.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Then, I planned out some of the visuals for my end of summer project, which will recap my experience at ESPN, and created a card and copy for ESPN\u2019s WNBA games next week.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I ended the day with three events: A Disney intern event with Amanda Gifford, SVP ESPN Sports Production \u2013 Global Event &amp; Studio Production; a \u201cWorking with Influencers 101\u201d event put together by my coworker Liv, and the NEXT Summit here in Bristol.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Until next week!<\/div>\n<div id=\"Signature\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Week 6<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">This week, both of the states shows I was assigned for \u201850\/50\u2019 premiered\/will premiere on SportsCenter, so that was my primary focus alongside a few other projects.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I started the morning by continuing work on the sports influencer list before moving on to a media list for Southpaw.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Then, I sent out reporter follow ups for the New Jersey \u201850\/50\u2019 stop and emailed the producer to set up a reporter\u2019s interview with Ryan Smith.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">For the rest of the day, I worked on all things \u201850\/50.\u2019<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">With my NJ reporter follow ups sent the day before, I did the same for Michigan.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-99\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-6-Photo-1-300x140.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"140\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-6-Photo-1-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-6-Photo-1-1024x477.png 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-6-Photo-1-768x358.png 768w, https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforsportsmedia\/files\/2025\/06\/Week-6-Photo-1.png 1473w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">After our Tuesday huddle, I sent the Michigan social card and tweet copy to my coworkers, RJ and Emily, to get posted on ESPNPR socials. I also sent them tweet copy for the press release I started working on last week.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">For that same release, I made a media list of reporters to pitch to once the release was published.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The rest of the day was more \u201850\/50.\u2019<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I began the day communicating back and forth with a reporter in Michigan to help get them a credential to be on-site and set up an interview with Christine Williamson.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">In between that communication, I continued working on the media list for my press release and created some social cards and tweet copy for upcoming WNBA games.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">My <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1942977531990151598\">social card for Michigan<\/a> was posted that afternoon.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I ended the week with my second ESPN byline \u2013 and my first on ESPN Press Room! I also made a media list for the Virginia stop.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Then, I got word from Katie that I secured coverage at <i>The Gainesville Sun<\/i>\u00a0in Florida for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gainesville.com\/story\/sports\/college\/basketball\/2025\/06\/30\/florida-gators-to-take-over-sec-network-on-july-1\/84379392007\/\"><i>SEC Network Takeover<\/i><\/a> and got to work on my first press release. For the latter, I worked on a draft of the release and then wrote up some questions for production to get updated information.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">In the afternoon, the team discovered Ann Felix\u2019s surprise for our outing this week: an ice cream truck (thanks, Ann!). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espnfrontrow.com\/2023\/06\/intern-chronicles-mike-soltys-espnprs-first-intern\/\">Mike Soltys<\/a>, the OG ESPN intern\u00a0and I very much enjoyed our sweet treats.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I updated the aforementioned press release with the information from production we requested and then met with Bea during her 50\/50 office hours to get some questions answered. After we spoke, I worked on a plan for how I would go about my reporter follow ups for both the Michigan and New Jersey tour stops.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Then, I started working on a sports influencer list for my coworker Manzo. This involves me searching for micro, mid-tier, and top-tier influencers on Instagram who I think would be good choices for ESPN to invite to NYC-specific events.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I sent a follow up to the <i>New York Daily News <\/i>reporter and continued working on 50\/50 and the sports influencer list.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Until next week!<\/div>\n<p><strong>Week 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>This week marked my first in-person event at ESPN. Alongside that, I was able to work on a variety of projects, from fast-paced assignments to more strategic work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I started out the week by working on a social card and copy for ESPNPR promoting <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1937170827159429236\">Jalen Williams\u2019 SportsCenter appearance<\/a> later that day. I managed to get it done in time, and got more comfortable adjusting to last-minute changes in this fast-paced environment.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>During our morning meeting, I got a shoutout from our leader Josh for my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espnfrontrow.com\/2025\/06\/intern-chronicles-2025-espn-summer-interns-infrowgraphic\/\">InFRowgraphic<\/a>, which was a highlight. Then, I worked on a pitch draft and media list for reporters from the University of Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn University promoting all things SEC Network Takeover.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I helped Bea with some talking points for an interview with Front Office Sports and Kevin Negandhi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>I continued building my media list for SEC Network Takeover and sent out pitches. I also got to sit in on the previously mentioned interview, which was great for me to get a sense of a publicist\u2019s role in facilitating those types of conversations.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>After that, I helped on a Front Row piece that Bea was working on by drafting up some preliminary questions and a story outline for Randy Scott, who was being interviewed for visiting his 50th State (Alaska) for SportsCenter\u2019s 50 States in 50 Days tour.<\/p>\n<p>In between everything, I met with Ronce to discuss event logistics for the NBA Draft in Brooklyn and got some feedback from Bea on my recent work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>An unforgettable day for me: I got my first credential and attended the NBA Draft! I loved getting to meet so many members of the ESPN team based out of New York. At Barclays, I spent most of my time observing and learning, but I also supported both the ESPN Social and Images teams and the red carpet photographer.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>Eventually, we all moved into the main stage, where I got the opportunity to meet a lot of our ESPN talent. Specifically, Monica McNutt, Malika Andrews, Jay Bilas, Andraya Carter, Christine Williamson, Bob Myers, Kevin Negandhi and Stephen A. Smith.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the night, I took it all in and helped wherever I could. I am so glad I got this amazing experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">I returned to regularly scheduled programming, continuing on SEC Network Takeover, and then working on a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ESPNPR\/status\/1938648718238196087\">WNBA social card\u00a0<\/a>and meeting virtually with more of my ESPN colleagues. A surreal week for this intern.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Until next week!<\/div>\n<p><strong>Week 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>A short week this week with the holiday, but with no shortage of great projects I got to work on. I focused a lot these few days on designing the InFRowgraphic and pitching reporters in two different states for SportsCenter\u2019s \u201850 States in 50 Days\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>After our morning meeting, I split up pitches for the New Jersey SC \u201850\/50\u2019 show with Ronce and got some positive responses. On top of handling New Jersey with Ronce, I am also handling coverage for our tour stop in Michigan which is where I secured my first clip with M Live. One of many to come, I hope.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>In between all the pitching I was doing, I worked on the InFRowgraphic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>Now that my initial pitches were done, I reached out to the NJ &amp; MI producers for SC 50\/50 to introduce myself, offer my support and learn of any additional production details.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>Later on, I filled out an application for my media credentials for a very exciting event, so stay tuned to hear more about that.<\/p>\n<p>I also attended an E60 planning meeting for an upcoming release so I could get an idea of what kind of work goes into promoting ESPN original films.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, when I wasn\u2019t in meetings, I worked on a timeline for ESPN Social focused on highlighting major milestones since its inception.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">It was an exciting end (at least in person!) to this short week, which culminated in my first byline at ESPN. This week, I focused on a few projects and continued to meet with people in the department and sit it in on meetings discussing a variety of ESPN properties. This gave me the information I needed for two different projects: My welcome graphic for the 2025 summer intern class and this year&#8217;s InFRowgraphic that the ESPN Front Row website does annually. I focused specifically on adding everyone&#8217;s college logos to the welcome graphic before going into our weekly Monday morning meeting (MMM). I continued building my media list before going into our weekly comms huddle, and then I got to go to my first ESPN employee event focusing on flag football. Then, I made a social card for the WNBA game this Saturday (keep an eye out on ESPN PR socials for that!) for one of my coworkers, which was great because women&#8217;s basketball is one of my favorite sports. I also spent the day working on a second media list, bouncing back and forth between each one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>I continued on with my media lists and met with Andy Hall and Kiara and Rob from HR for lunch. I also sat in on a LALIGA meeting (Spain\u2019s professional football league) with another one of my coworkers, Christine. But one of the best parts of the day was seeing my welcome graphic for all the interns in different buildings across the ESPN campus. I loved seeing my work on display.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\n<p>The day was all about wrapping up different stages of what I was working on, so that included getting all of the interns\u2019 submissions to the InFRowgraphic survey. I also met with Ronce to review the media list we were working on together and I continued working on that for the rest of the day, in addition to drafting pitches that will be emailed to the reporters I listed. My name is Jacqueline (Jackie) Litowinsky and I am an intern this summer for ESPN&#8217;s PR\/Communications department. I&#8217;m a rising senior at Seton Hall, where I am double majoring in public relations and journalism. This internship came out of the Center&#8217;s new partnership with ESPN, all thanks to Bob Ley and B.J. I got to meet most of the team, which was my favorite part of the day (in addition to the lunch we had together)! Another highlight: my ESPN swag bag I was generously gifted, and my favorite New Jerseyan Danny DeVito wishing me luck this summer (shoutout to my first supervisor Ronce Rajan for that!).<\/p>\n<p>In between, I had a number of meetings, shadowed my second supervisor Beatrix Panitz and watched her make a title card for Saquon Barkley&#8217;s appearance on SportsCenter that night, and attended a Disney &#8220;rookie camp&#8221; orientation.
