Studies have shown that incorporating contemplative practices into their lives and into their classrooms can help faculty manage their own stress and help students with theirs as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">In this workshop, faculty from a variety of disciplines and at various stages in their engagement with contemplative practices and contemplative pedagogy will share their strategies and consider the following questions:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">What would a contemplative learning environment at Seton Hall look like?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">What would be the benefits to the university community, and especially to our students?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Light refreshments will be served.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>February 18th, 12:00-1:30pm Faculty Lounge From mindfulness to meditation, the use of contemplative practices is becoming of increasing interest in higher education.
