{"id":46,"date":"2015-11-24T17:16:24","date_gmt":"2015-11-24T22:16:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforfacultydevelopment\/?p=46"},"modified":"2015-11-24T17:18:06","modified_gmt":"2015-11-24T22:18:06","slug":"spring-2016-university-seminar-on-mission","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.shu.edu\/centerforfacultydevelopment\/2015\/11\/24\/spring-2016-university-seminar-on-mission\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring 2016 University Seminar on Mission"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" align=\"center\"><b><\/b>The <b><i>Office for Mission and Ministry <\/i><\/b>and the <b><i>Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership<\/i><\/b> invite faculty members and administrators to participate in the University Seminar on Mission.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The seven-week seminar provides an opportunity for in-depth reflection on the University&#8217;s mission in light of its history, nature, and present circumstances.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Participants discuss seminal texts and contemporary commentary on the mission of Catholic universities and the unique mission of Seton Hall.\u00a0 The seminar is limited to 14 participants.\u00a0 Faculty participants receive a $350 stipend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">In the spring 2016 semester, the seminar will be held on Mondays, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., February 1, 8, 15, 22; March 7, 14, 21.\u00a0 All meetings will be held in the Dean\u2019s Conference Room, main floor, Walsh Library.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shu.edu\/catholic-mission\/servant-leadership-mission-seminar.cfm\" target=\"_blank\">Click here for further information or to apply<\/a>.\u00a0 Questions?\u00a0 Please call Linda Garofalo or Francia Peterson at the<i>Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership<\/i> (973-313-6042).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Office for Mission and Ministry and the Center for Vocation and Servant Leadership invite faculty members and administrators to participate in the University Seminar on Mission.
