University Teaching Fellows Application

The University Teaching Fellows program is a faculty development initiative designed specifically to support tenure-track faculty in their early years at the university. Its goals are: to promote excellence in undergraduate teaching and learning among tenure-track faculty with research promise; to provide support for faculty in the tenure and promotion process; and to cultivate faculty to assume leadership positions within the university community.

    Provide an abbreviated curriculum vitae that includes a listing of courses developed and taught.

    Provide a syllabus and/or sample of learning materials (no more than 10 pages) that reflect your approach to teaching and student learning.

    Provide letters of support from your department chair and dean.

    Provide a brief statement (maximum 500 words) about the issue(s) and area(s) on which you would like to focus during the fellowship period and what you could contribute to the UTF cohort.

    Applications are accepted between August 1 and 15 each year.
