Join Us for An Ethics Summit Designed for Deacons!
Today’s Ethical Issues:
Considering Questions Deacons Often Are Asked
This Ethics Summit designed for deacons and deacon candidates on Synodal Leadership: Ethical Questions People Ask, will be held on Monday June 8, 2026, from 9am to 3pm at Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology, Seton Hall University.
Often parishioners seek out deacons for advice and guidance on the “hot button” ethical issues of our current times. The purpose of this event is to listen and engage deacons on the front lines regarding the ethical questions people ask of them as they exercise their leadership responsibilities in the parish, community, and marketplace.
The day will include
- Morning Prayer
- Mass
- Lunch and refreshments
- Deacon Panel
- Speakers: Deacon Michael Giuliano, M.D.; Dr. Timothy Fortin, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Philosophical Theology, and Fr. Pawel Tomczyk, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Moral Theology
