Gulfo, MD, MBA, an alum and adjunct professor of Seton Hall University, manages the Cancer Biology blog.\u00a0He obtained a BS degree in Biology from Seton Hall University in 1984, and was the Valedictorian of the School of Arts &amp; Sciences. He obtained an MD degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ) in 1984 and an MBA from Seton Hall University in 1995.<\/p>\n<p>A serial entrepreneur, Dr. Gulfo is a leader in biopharma and medtech innovation and was responsible for the approval of a monoclonal antibody for prostate cancer (ProstaScint \u2013 Cytogen), a drug for bladder cancer (Valstar \u2013 Anthra Pharmaceuticals), and a medical device for melanoma detection (MelaFind \u2013 MELA Sciences).<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Gulfo is the author of two books \u2013 <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Care-Quotient-Transforming-Business-Through\/dp\/161868793X\" target=\"_blank\">The Care Quotient: Transforming Business Through People<\/a><\/em> and \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.innovationbreakdownbook.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Innovation Breakdown: How the FDA and Wall Street Cripple Medical Advances<\/em><\/a>. He spearheads the <a href=\"http:\/\/view2.fdu.edu\/academics\/silberman-college\/centers-and-institutes\/rothman-institute-of-entrepreneurship\/ipci\/\">Initiative for Patient-Centered Innovation<\/a> at Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a Visiting Scholar at the <a href=\"https:\/\/d.docs.live.net\/a8ba7de0328085a9\/2014%20Documents\/PERSONAL\/CV%20%5e0%20Bio%20Sketch\/Melissa's%20JVG%20Bios%20%5e0%20Photo\/Visiting%20Scholar%20at%20the%20Mercatus%20Center%20of%20George%20Mason%20University\">Mercatus Center<\/a> of George Mason University.
