Day,&#8221; &#8220;Hallowmas,&#8221; &#8220;Feast Of All Saints,&#8221; or &#8220;Solemnity of All Saints&#8221;)\u00a0recognizes the lives and legacy of saints and martyrs in history and is celebrated not only in the United States, but\u00a0globally.\u00a0 It is a Christian-based holiday that is observed every year\u00a0on November 1st among Western Churches and the first Sunday after Pentecost in\u00a0Eastern Rite Churches.\u00a0 The\u00a0traditional\u00a0rituals\u00a0found to be connected with All Saints\u2019 Day\u00a0include personal reflection\u00a0and formal remembrance combined with a religious service to honor those who are recognized for their exceptional piety.\u00a0 Their tales are often recounted in print form and available to future generations to discover.<\/p>\n<p>In our Rare Book Collection, a number of texts on individual saints dating back to the 15th century which are worth reading in a wide-range of languages including Latin, French, German, and others.\u00a0 Among our earliest American published volumes is the work entitled &#8211;
