For it is in extraordinary\u00a0<em>being<\/em>\u00a0through which exceptional\u00a0<em>doing\u00a0<\/em>flows.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Being Authentic<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Being and acting consistent with who you hold yourself out to be for others, and who you hold yourself to be for yourself.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Being Cause In the Matter of Everything In Your Life<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Being Cause in the Matter is a stand you take on yourself and your life. A stand is a declaration you make, not a statement of fact. Being Cause in the Matter is viewing life from and acting from the stand that\u00a0<em>\u201cI am cause in the matter of everything in my life.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Being willing to view life from this perspective leaves you with power. You are never for yourself a victim.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Being Committed to Something Bigger Than Yourself<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; Being committed to something bigger than oneself is the source of the serene passion (charisma) required to lead and to develop others as leaders and the source of persistence (joy in the labor of) when the path gets tough.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Being A Person or an Organization of Integrity<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0Integrity for anything is the state of being whole, complete, unbroken, sound, in perfect condition. For a person and any human organization, integrity is a matter of that person\u2019s word or that organization\u2019s word being whole and complete \u2014 nothing more and nothing less. Integrity is required to create the maximum opportunity for performance and quickly generate trust.<\/p>\n<p>What beautiful simplicity and awesome power in the\u00a0<em>being<\/em>\u00a0we choose: authenticity, being the cause in the matter of everything in my life, being something bigger than myself and being a person of values. It is in the great leaders\u2019 hands to choose.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevemaraboli.com\/\">Steve Maraboli<\/a>\u00a0writes: \u201c<em>You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose and to do it courageously.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Be\u00a0more than you ever dreamed you could be\u2026 and more\u2026 so much more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gautama_Buddha\">Buddha<\/a>\u00a0tells great leaders: \u201c<em>Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened.<\/em>\u201d\u00a0Be\u00a0that candle who lights the world and burn brilliantly with passion and love of life and for those whom you serve.
